Do I need a stronger flash?

Currently I have a Bowens Gemini 250C studio set, I also have an Innovatronix mini explorer with a view of using my flashheads outdoors, however I'm begining to wonder whether the 250W will be any use in daylight, or whether I should simply stick to using speedlights for any outdoor work.

Warehouse Express have a 20% off Bowens offer finishing today, where I could pick up a 500W gemini classic.

Is it worth it? Judging that its a fair investment. My studio kit has only been used for some corporate headshots, and one indoor family shoot.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

If you are not going to get much use out of it, stick with your speedlights
