Finally got around to this and what better way to start than with a drop of the winter weather. This is my first weeks effort.

I liked this one from this mornings shoot around Bushy Park and it fits into the theme easily enough with the curve of the seat and back. I was struggling for ideas this past few days but thankfully the weather's sorted me out.

This was going to be my effort, but although there's plenty of curves to be seen around the front of the car, the theme was Curved, not curves.

I like both of those Dave, and very appropriate with today's weather :thumbs:

Processing works well on the first one, but it's looking a bit too pink on my monitor :shrug:
Very nice composition, but for me it doesn't really shout "curved".

It's funny how different people interpret themes and images, because to me the second one is actually more curved - but I see the reasoning in what you're saying.
 
Thanks, the only thing I'm not happy with, is funnily enough the curve in the snow along the top. I would have tried to fix it, but given the theme I thought it was quite apt.

Another vote for the bench, the curve of the bench is clear, I didn't notice the snow on the top till you mentioned it. I like the processing too.
 
I'm away this week and was given zero notice so never had time to pack my camera gear.

On the one hand I'm gutted to have to pull out a joker so early, but on the other hand I'm glad it has to be used on this particular theme as this was always going to be a hard one for me, not having read any poetry whatsoever since my school days!

Back at the weekend so will be able to get involved for week 3.

Dave, no worries, but you can always shoot it when you get a chance... not a problem.
