DIY Grid Snoot. Can I have my Blue Peter badge now?

Another rainy day inspired me to get out my sticky tape, cardboard and glue.

...and here is what I made.

Thanks. It's a few sheets of corrugated cardboard glued together. For the next one I'll get some cardboard with wider corrugations. This one stops a lot of light getting through.

Looks like white cardboard, spraying it black internally should actually improve it, although it doesn't look too bad as it is

It tightens the spread of the flash, and softens the light too.

On the last one I was just trying to show the beam spread. Without the snoot the whole wall would be white.
