Yes
Hi I would like to upgrade to D600 soon and currently have a D5000 and D7000.

I need to keep one as a back up body so which do I sell? Obviously the D7000 is worth probably twice that of the D5000 but the step up I find incredible and barely ever ever use the D5000.

However I really like the D7000 so maybe best to keep that for DX?

I have a mix of DX and FX lenses

Any ideas or suggestions welcome! !!

I'd say ditch the d5000.

The d7000 will be more ergonomically similar to the d600 and it'll make it easier when switching between cameras.

Let us know what you decide..!

It sounds like you have already made the choice... If you don't use the d5000 much now are you going to use it more when you have a d600? A d7000 and d600 combo does sound like a good idea. Similar button layouts and ergonomics. Its something I've thought about, a dx and fx camera combo does sound the ideal mix, especially as it looks like nikon have designed the d600 as the step up to fx for d7000 owners.

Yes I think I will ditch my under used D5000

I like the idea that the D600 and D7000 are similar layout etc

Now to convince the wife I need a D600 hehe...
