Displaycal software

Hi
I have a spyder 3 pro but the software is out of date and I am not eligible for an upgrade and I am being advised to buy a new Spyder.
I have come across the display cal software https://displaycal.net/ which uses the existing instrument ,does anyone have any experience with this , ideally on a win 10 PC

Yes, been using for about a year now. Miles better than spyder software.

Thank you for that, I have installed it and it seems very good.
The only thing I cannot work out is how to see the effects of calibration i.e. before and after could you help please

Not sure if you can in the software. It's easy on a Mac as you can just quickly switch between the standard profile and the new profile within the Mac screen colour preferences.

Not sure how it works in Windows.
