And there we have one of the root causes of our problems in society today.
Tony Blair can look at fancy ways of reducing crime, drug usage, poor education, and everything else we see on the news....
But I stand by my opinion that the majority of it nowadays comes down to one thing....a lack of moral responsibility and care for others, which in turn is caused by lazy parenting.
In the lower/working class we have alot of parents who just cant be bothered and shove junk food into their kids mouths, shove them infront of the TV all day, ignoring them, let them play out until all hours, and just 'let them get on with it' ("As long as theyre not in my way"), and never bother to attempt to teach or instil any moral conscience into them.
Then in the middle class we have those who like the 3 foreign holidays, the 5 or 6 extra bedrooms, and the 3 cars on the driveway, along with the newest TV. And how do they get that? By working all hours god sends, and shoving their kids in nursery, and paying someone else to look after them all the time, thus repeating the problem above.
A huge generalisation, yes, but it does some up where alot of todays problems come from. Parents who just think its their job to feed and clothe their children, when infact more importantly, its their job to teach them how to be people.
