Many of you will be aware that Photographers with Disabilities runs an accessible studio and support group within the Bristol which is regularly used by our own members and by other photographers locally. You may also know that we also host a facebook group which is steadily growing with members from a wide range of locations.
One of the regular topics on our facebook group is about the lack of support for disabled photographers especially photographers who are recently disabled and that the issue for them is not simply about access but is much wider and complex issue.
Another regular feature of the facebook group is discussion about setting up further PWD groups around the country. I would really like to hear from disabled photographers hear what support they feel they need but I would also be very interested to hear from anyone who would be willing to set up a new group within their area.
