Does anyone know if you can get a sat nav, a book, an app or something similar of where disabled parking bays in London?

On street, with the exception of double red lines you can park pretty much anywhere. Certainly any residents permit space of metered space

It may well apply more to central London
BLUE BADGE HOLDERS CAN PARK:
  • In designated Blue Badge Bays
  • At a meter, Pay and Display bays and Pay by Phone bays (BB holders will get an additional hour of free parking added to the time for which payment has been made)
  • On single yellow lines ONLY in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea as long as there is no loading or unloading restriction and only for 20 minutes to drop off or pick up a disabled person, or to collect goods.
BLUE BADGE HOLDERS CANNOT PARK:
  • Red routes or double yellow lines
  • Single yellow line (except Kensington and Chelsea as long as there is no loading or unloading restriction and only for 20 minutes to drop off or pick up a disabled person, or to collect goods)
  • Suspended parking bays
  • Residents parking bays
  • Personalised disabled bays
  • Specific bays e.g. doctor, taxi etc.

I thought each borough had their own rules. I found best not to park anywhere I wasn't 100% sure.

Not related only to parking. Red Routes and the enforcement of them is the responsibility of TFL and not the individual London boroughs.

on that site there are POI ( points of interest ) files to download for the most common satnavs like tomtom, garmin, mio, navman

Tomtom for android is pretty cheap at 15 quid for subscription and the site mentioned above has the blue badge POI ( .OV2 file )
