Aye it is but Im not into kit envy, have what Ive got and make the best of it sure Id like better but cant afford owt, still Im happy with what I have so thats good, you can have the best kit in the world but that dont make you a good tog, seeing and creativeness does, no matter what kit you have, although good glass may help

Yeah true. Im happy with my wide angle. Just upgrade my 400d to 60d then replace my kit lens and maybe sell my 55-250mm for a sigma 500mm
