Hi Everyone.

I want to buy wide gamut eizo or nec monitor plus calibrator.
The only problem is that I can't find affordable company who can provide their printers profiles.
There is no point to spend fortune for monitor and calibrator if I won't be able to get prints(I found company which charge £3.60 per 7x5" print and that's just too much for me).

There is a small problem with that - you force the lab to then print on that given printer. Now that works if the lab only has one printer. Even if a lab had a number of the same printers there would be subtle differences between the printers.

Also, don't forget to budget for a viewing booth to then look at the prints under controlled conditions - then control the light in the room you are working in....

Some of our customers use EIZO and LaCie monitors which have been well calibrated and they don't need our output profiles - they are close enough without...

If your printers are calibrated then results should be close.
Close would be enough for me. Normal customer wouldn't say a word about differences.
When I asked for a profile of the printer i Jessops guy didn't know what I'm taking about. They even don't calibrate their printers at all!
