Digital Photo Professional downloads available?

I am a proud new owner of a Canon 550D, my first foray into the world of digital SLR photography. Thing is, I can't install the standard kit software from the supplied software discs because my netbook PC doesn't have a disc drive. Since this is the baby-box I carry with me wherever I travel I like to have a basic editing/touch-up tool on it. I have GIMP, as well as Picassa and Paintnet, but was interested to see what the Canon software was like. Does anyone know anywhere I can download a complete version (the only options available from Canon are updaters)?

You could be a bit stuck without a CD drive. One option is to use a USB CD/DVD drive. Alternatively you could try copying the files over a network from another computer. The former is a neater option, if you can find someone who can loan you a drive
