I read the blurb on this comp out of interest. It costs £10 to enter and you can submit up to 50 photos (5 per category) with a shared prize of £20k. (Roughly £1500 per category winner with the overall winner getting an additional £1k of kit.

I am curious as to whether this kind of competition is more about them raising money. Most comps I've seen, you enter one or two photos for free and they get judged. With this one you can enter up to 50 which also seems like overkill and a lot for the judges to plough through.

Just wondered what other members' thoughts are.

Last year it was free with same number of shots allowed.
Probably decided another way to make some money.

I would think there will be a lot less shots entered this year.
