Depends what sort of light diffusion you want.

Stofen omnibounce are fairly well used.

You could use an on-flash softbox, too.

It does depend on what you want to shoot.
For indoors, many people like Gary Fong or Sto-Fen, because they are "easy".
If you want to get creative try vari-angle reflectors.
