Is there such a thing as a diffuser for nikon D60 built in flash?

where could i find such a thing? (have had a good look to no avail)

i'm doing a club shoot and i'm fed up of havign to shoot in b+w because of the harshness of the flash.

I'm selling the camera once my lens for my 20d comes back from sigma so buying a flash isn't really an option (also money is very tight)

Regards
Charlie

Plenty of pop-up flash diffusers on Ebay.

To be honest I'd invest in a Speedlight though and leave the pop-up for flash triggering only.

ebay was the one place i hadn't looked as i need it tomorrow night, but found one to be put in with a 12hr courier, sound job cheers!!

You don't have to go as far as ebay, or spend that much!

You have the old photographers favourite light modifier and diffuser within about 20 feet of you now!

get a sheet of tissue paper, if it is 2-ply, you can try it as is, or you can peel it apart to 1-ply and then just use a rubber band to hold it over the flash tube...no, it won't catch fire. Yes it will work like a dream.

Old timer photographers used to use a white handkerchief over the tube of their Metz 45s for this very effect...and it works. Knocks about 1 stop off for 2-ply and about 1/2 stop for 1-ply with less diffusion.

before you splash out a tener on a piece of milk carton...go and try it!
