Different types of light meters?

In the past i have only ever used digital display light meters, but the time is fast approaching where i will need to get my own.

Looking at the cheaper end of the scale there are these other types of meter, can anyone tell me how they work/display the readings as i cant work it out from the images or from the spiel?

If they are a pain to use then i would rather pay the extra for a digital display meter, or wait till one pops up second hand.

I'm sure they both work fine. Should be a doddle to use.

I like the look of the Sekonic as it looks comfortingly retro with a needle that moves! And it's got Sekonic written on it

Haha So it flippin well isn't Well spotted Garry, it's very confusingly worded

Better shell out for the 308 then. The other one doesn't look anything special, but I'm sure it works perfectly well.
