Difference between rf 603 n1 and n3

Hi,

I have a D90 and want to get some RF-603 and have seen on Amazon that for the D90 I need the N3 version, what is the difference between the N1 and N3 versions and will the N1 work with the D90?

It's the little cable for the shutter release, different plugs for different model Nikons.

I have one of those remotes for that so I presume it should not matter if I get either.

The flash will still fire even if no cable is plugged in so it should work fine, although ebay will have the model for your camera.
