Hi Folks,
Did anyone make it up to Donington Park for the vintage bike racing this weekend?
I was wondering how much it had changed, catch fence wise, due to all of the changes to bring it back up to standard.
It was never the best as far as the fencing was concerned anyway, I'm just hoping they've not made it even worse!
Any other info about where around the circuit is available to spectators these days would be appreciated as well :thumbs:

Would be interested to know this too, the fencing as said was always a mare it was just way too high in places I believe it didnt need to be?

Not the best for getting good shots I didnt think.

My Uncle went for the weekend and had a great time, but the catch fencing is still there and they were not allowed access to the infield, but at least they have stuff running around again.

I figured the catch fencing would still be up, I was rather concerned they might have added more though.
Bit of a shame about infield access as down on the inside of the Old Hairpin is one of the better locations for shots (for the general public).
 
I presume when things are sorted out, infield access will be possible.

I'm sure my Uncle said the catch fencing was all the way round the circuit now :bonk: and we couldn't see the point - he said it reminded him of Colditz :lol:
