Diana Rigg

TBH, I thought she had passed away a while back but that was Honor Blackman. Both Avengers ladies as well as Bond girls.

Thoughts with her family and friends.

I thought she was the best of the Avenger actresses, with a surprisingly strong talent for comedy. She herself was known to repeat her least flattering review...
Diana Rigg is built like a brick mausoleum with insufficient flying buttresses.

Absolutely. The only one of the female leads left is Joanna Lumley, who is a bit younger. She played Purdy, which was a play on the name of her father's gunmakers 'Purdey'.

Linda Thorson (Tara King) is still alive, I think.

Mildly horrified to see she was only a few years younger than my mum.

I don't remember her. We didn't have TV when I was growing up - my father had no time for it - and I only watched some of The Avengers at a friend's house.

The Avengers is on on one of the Freeview channels in the morning - shame I have to start working. Superb actress, delectable in OHMSS. RIP

Diana Rigg .......... now there was a lady with an abundance of class. :crying:
