What chemicals do I need and what equipment do i need other than a tank+spool and a stop watch

ilford pdf walkthrough is really really useful, I self taught from it and had good results from the first time, use that and experiment then come back with problems :D
 
I'd second the .pdf file...

Hardest bit was loading the film into the spiral in the tank whilst in total darkness. In the end i'd got a old fillm that only had 2 shots on it, which was dev'ed at boots - took all the blank bits of neg, stuck them together, and practiced loading the spiral with that (yes - i AM too cheap to just use a out-of-date film to practice with :lol:)
