I'm planning a shoot on Sunday with a friend and we were thinking of heading up to Glossop (we both live in Manchester).

Anyone got any suggestions for some decent places around Glossop/Buxton area that would offer up some decent ladscapes, valleys, gorges etc?
 
Here are a few ideas.

Longdendale valley - five reservoirs in a chain.
Snake Pass
Kinder Scout and Bleaklow if you want to walk
Ladybower & Derwent valleys. If it's working (and looking at the forecast may well be), the overflow at Ladybower is impressive.
Winnats Pass.
Cat & Fiddle Road between Buxton and Macc. Crazy winding road loved by bikers.
The bifurcating viaducts at Chapel-en-le-Frith
Hadfield has local shops for local people ;)
