Morning all,

Got my Dell U2412M yesterday and am massively impressed with it!
The first thing I did was google for some calibration settings for it, which I found online on another forum.
However, having tried these settings it feels too "warm", the whites are more like beige.
So its gone back to its SRGB setting, which in comparison looks too blue!

Anyway - so I was just wondered if anyone with this monitor could post up their own calibration (RGB, brightness and contrast) settings?

Thanks!

Every monitor is slightly different so my advice would be get yourself some calibration kit (Colormunki, Spyder etc) and calibrate the monitor yourself.

Having spent the dosh on a good monitor, it's worth the extra few bob to get the best out of it

Nick,

Someone elses calibration data is unlikely to be right for your monitor. It's more than just having a set of brightness, contrast, etc., figures as manufacturing tolerances, room ambient light and other factors also have an effect and can change throughout the day (unless you're working in a darkened room).

The only solution that makes sense is to get a calibrator ... sorry :(
