I've recently got myself one of these badboys, and I am wondering about which preset to use when calibrating it.
My camera is set to sRGB, and I process my pictures with Lightroom. Therefore, should I set the monitor to the 'sRGB simulation' preset before calibrating the display, or would it be better to set the monitor to the 'Standard' preset (which I believe has a wider gamut than sRGB) and use my Spyder Pro to calibrate that?
I'm guessing that the monitor's 'sRGB simulation' preset may not absolutely match the sRGB colourspace of my camera/Lightroom output, therefore would it be better to use the 'Standard' preset, as this would definitely encompass any slight variation is sRGB colourspace?
I hope that makes sense!
Cheers
