AS BIG AS A BIG TELLY and with higher resolution than HD (high definition), Dell's mammoth 30in display is unlike anything else you're likely to have put on your PC.

The sheer size of the 3007WFP sets it apart. True, writes Paul Monckton, there are many larger LCD and plasma displays available (some of which are connected to computers, usually to form home theatre PCs) but none of these is able to offer the ultra-high, 2,560 x 1,600 pixel resolution of the 3007WFP.

I think I'd still take the Apple 23" - we have a few of the Apple 30" at work and while they are really nice, the res is too damn small to be able to work close to it and it makes your eyes hurt after a while

I think you'll find that Apple displays are the same as the Dell ones - both are manufactured by LG-Philips.
 
Yep that's correct but I prefer the design of the Apple, not that it matters - I can't afford either!
