Hi all
first time poster here
I'm looking to upgrade to a dslr soon and own three canon ef lenses from film days.
28mm
35-105
80-200

None of the above are IS of course so my question to any Canon users is does IS make that much of a difference. I've been looking at the 10000D which is not bundled with a IS kit lens.

So should I sell off the canon lenses and go for a Sony or Pentax with the in body IS or stick with Canon?

Any thoughts much appreciated

Cheers

If you got shots without IS on film, you will get good shots without IS on digital.
Yes its handy, but certainly not essential.

What sort of things do you shoot? If its mainly landscapes, the IS is pretty much worthless anyway. If its more handheld action, then you may see some benefit.
