Been looking at getting one of these but they either seem cheap and rubbish or great but £80 or so. (B+W ND10)

Is there a middleground out there? Can you get a decent one for about £40 or is it a case of sucking it up and just buying a B+W?

Thanks,

I got a Heliopan of ebay for £40, can have a bit of colour cast but easily rectified. Good quality glass and well made filter.

Might be worth getting a decent 9 stop instead of a mediocre 10 stop?

The LCW nd500 is around £40. It's a 9 stop, but is good quality with little to no cast.

How about one of those Kenko 9 stop? The 77mm i want is going for like £40-50

I'm looking too its a toss up between the lightcraft workshop and haida. Probably go for the lightcraft though.

where have you found it for £40?

I bought mine from premier ink. It was a while ago through, so they may have gone up?

i will buy one of them eventually for my Hitech setup but sometimes i want to go lazy and use screw on filter instead lol.

I've read bad and good reviews about the hitech 10 stop. I think a screw in for 10 stops will be a better option.
