Decent Keyboard

My better half wants to buy me a "little" pressie for Xmas. I could do with a decent keyboard that isn't as "plasticky" as the crap TRUST one I have at the moment. Some of the letters need a sledgehammer to make sure that they work. Suggestions please.

Having been a keyboard user with fast touch-typing skills for more years than I can remember; I would always recommend Cherry keyboards.

Cherry for sure. I have a Cherry board I use at work and am typing this on a Logitech G610 with Cherry MX Red.

Logitech MX Keys. Definitely not cheap and plasticky.
It's alloy and it actually has quite a bit of weight to it.

Look out for a gaming keyboard with mechanical switches. The sole disadvantage is they can be a touch noisey.

100% - I use the Mac version but the PC one is identical (aside from obvious) - feels lovely and great build quality.
