This sounds a great idea, I'd never heard of it till I spotted the thread yesterday. I need something to get my backside out and about with my camera.

Well here's my accomodation image. The shelter is in the grounds of a derelict mental hospital. I've tried to give it a bit of an eerie feel by playing with pp (which I'm not to hot at either )

nice David! does look eerie, but it's a little on the dark side for me

hope you don't mind (and as you have the edit button ticked), i've just had a tinker....

Don't mind at all. I did have it a bit lighter but opted for the darker one

I think it would have benefited from a narrower depth of field so that the shelter stood out more from the background.

It's an interesting looking building and the black and white does suit it well but I'd agree about the image being perhaps a little too dark,

I've just had a look at the pic on my iphone and other pc and it certainly looks alot darker on them than on my laptop. It was on the laptop I did the pp etc.
I'll have another go at it.

Hi David that's a very creepy image. I could imagine it as a setting for Hitchcock film.

For me the original is too dark. I'll be interested to see your re-processed version.

Looks like an interesting building but too dark for me also I'm afraid. definitely worth going back for another visit though I'd say.

I preffer the edit as the first is a little to dark to show detail of the building. Hope this wasn't your "Accomodation" !!!!!
