So the image that won the photo of the week Id like to pop into the darkroom and print it properly, does anybody have any paper they dont want or use in exchange for a print or a few rolls of film.
And does anybody think its time to start a print exchange page on here once a month, could be a good way of getting us to print our work rather than it living in its digital domain. and plus when i get my new place im going all out to cover my walls in prints to keep the old creative juice flowing

It's a nice idea Dave, if I still did 'proper' (traditional) printing I'd certainly be interested but nowadays I have adopted the figital approach to printing. In other words, I shoot on film but then all post production and printing is done in the digital world.

I have looked at finding a local darkroom to use but it's been such a long time since I did wet prints I would waste so much paper I just don't think it would be economical.

If I really want a traditional print doing I think I'd probably check the classifieds in the back of AP

What size are you thinking of Dave? I have some spare paper hanging around that isn't getting used since I no longer have access to printing facilities.

im looking for 10x8 and above, no point in trying to print a 5x4 on anything smaller

just worth a go guess the more of us that turn around and say we want wet process darkrooms there is more chance of one being opened in our area. Im planning on making some serious inquiries when im back in plymouth about finding space and funding for a darkroom seeing as there are none in the southwest and 3 major uni's doing photography and nowt for the graduate when they finish

I'll have a look for you this weekend and post here/in the Offers forum in the Classifieds.

ah i cant see the offers section yet so a mail or here would be ace
