I have lost a small chunk of the rubber dust seal of my Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary lens (see images below). Does anyone know where I might get a replacement rubber seal for a DIY repair?

Sigma u.k ,get it done properly or leave well alone

This should be a simple replacement job, one that I'd be perfectly happy to tackle.

Sigma UK may sell you the part. They are very good in my experience.

Thanks, I had heard that lens manufacturers don't usually sell parts to consumers but it's worth a try. Third-party seals for some Sigma lenses are available very cheaply but I haven't found one for this particular model.

Update for the record

I mailed Sigma UK and asked if they could supply a replacement rubber. It turns out the rubber itself is not a separate part, it's integral to the metal mount but they were able to supply that for about 30 quid. Simple enough replacement, took 10 mins. Sorted.

Sigma after sales are very good. I had to get some screws for my 150-600 a couple of years ago, they sent me 3, plus 3 extras as spares.

Can't fault them after sales.
