Dam Lothian And Borders Police. Grrrr

Well thought i would vent my anger at the dam Police in Scotland

Ok here goes.

I was attacked and bitten by a Dog 2 weeks ago outside my front door. The owner of the dog was there. (he lives in flats across from me) anyways he never walks the dogs properly and lets them **** and ***** basically outside my front door... Thats another story...

Anyways i needed to go to shop for some ciggies and noticed the dogs were out . I am weary of them as they charge and bark at you. But i had the morning from hell and was GASPING. so went out and as usual one of the dogs came charging barking i stopped and it bloody bit my leg.

I got such a fright that i shouted at the Owner Your dogs just bit me. He looked at me then the dog and said to it come on son and walked away. Well i was RAGINGGGGGG and when i walked out the tunnel i slammed the Gate as hard as i could in anger. Well that was that he was Raging now and started shouting and swearing abuse at me in the street. Normally i am a quiet lass but that was it i gave back as good as he gave me and told him i would be phoing the council about his dogs and called him a effing D.

Decided to call the police. NOW i called them after it happened at 10.45am on a friday morning. They did not come to see me till 11.30pm Had to go and get a tetenus jab from dogs also and wounds dressed.

When they decided to come and see me at 11.30pm they took a statement then said well we will go and speak to him but it wont be till next Thursday as we are on night shift all week. I was like WTF Nearly a week later till they do something. So until then i could not go out my bloody front door incase the dogs were there. Had to go the back way which is the longggg way round if i needed to get onto main street.

So Thursday came and went never heard a word. and all the next week i never heard nothing it took for me to contact them back to find out what was happened.

The owner has been charged with some dangerous dogs thingy. The police guy on the phone was talking so quiet could hardly hear him. So i just said oh ok thanks and hung up the phone....

What makes me so mad is that it could have been my small kids that were bitten or any child infact and they could not go and see him till they were off night shift Grrrrrrr made me so mad:bat::bang:

Had my vent feel a bit better now lol:lol:

Accompanied my pal to Bathgate to see Lothian & Borders Police after a man attempted to drag my pal's daughter at knifepoint into some bushes on her way home from work one night.

He had to make an appointment, as the town's main Police station is unmanned and officers had to be dispatched from god-knows-where to take her statement....

If I had got bitten in such a manner I don't think I would be letting it drop and I'm a dog person.

I love dogs, but I hate stupid owners. I suspect that these dogs have a stupid owner, ultimately not the dogs fault but I wouldn't tolerate a dog that bites.

Thanks for that. I am a dog person also and have a dog. My hubby said oh well just leave it at that he been warned and charged. Hmmm. he dont seem to understand it could have been a kid. And now i got a big bloody hole in my leg. lol can u believe the tetenus shot was worse than the bite well after it. Omg couldnt move my arm :lol::lol:

The owners have been walking the dogs now and not letting them run about outside my door.

But if i see him and he starts on me i will be at the ready:bat::bat:

Had two occasions with Lothian & Borders Finest :lol::cuckoo: to slate them. Once being a witness to a accident between car and a bus (car at fault) left my details at the scene, polis phoned me at home asking if I'd go to their cop shop over 10 miles away to give them a statement, I asked them if they were not supplied with a patrol car so they could come to my house, never heard from them agin.

2nd one I got a phone call at work from PC plod claiming I'd driven through a red light with company motor, He wasn't amused because wouldn't give him details over the phone so asked if I'd drop into the cop shop again ...Yeah right wait till I zip up the back of my head.. I told him he knows where I work, come and see me. He said he was nightshift and it would be difficult for him to come to my work or home...TOUGH! Lazy sods don't want to do any work. Got charged but challenged them in court and got aquitted.

Sorry shouldnt laugh hahaha:lol:

Well beat this last year July to be precise. My granny became unwell and ended up in intensive care. I was due to be at court over a child abuse case that i had reported to the police the year before.

So 2 days before trial i called to explain what was going on and they said ok they called the courts and they said they would prospone and re arrange

Sadly my Granny died and the next trial date was on her funeral. I called to say look i cant go there no way. I was told that if i did not show i would be tracked down and arrested. I was distraught. I went to the doctors had things faxed to courts but no luck i was told i had to be there. I went to police station to say look have u heard anything they said no but would sort it out for me.

Well the day of the funeral came and can u believe a cop car showed up at the bloody funeral. then raced away i swear i thought i was gonna die on the spot. i was not arrested thank god. But it turns out the guy that was abusing ,who was another neighbour of mine. Is one of scotland most notorious murderers and he knows it was me that got him put back inside. They were so wanting me at the court case and now i know why :eek:

Wondered why the police and social servives had the kids out that house within 2 hours of me calling. thats why.:|
