Daft Question Alert.... Lightroom 2

After installing LR2 yesterday, I have found that whenever I take an image into "Develop" it automatically applies a bunch of adjustments.... hideous ones at that!

Is there a way I can stop this?

Ah ha, ignore.... Its just lightroom reading the xmp's from my previous attemps in CS3 They are my own hideous edits lol!


BUT.... it does seem to slightly adjust things, for example a red car turns orange?

Click RESET in the bottom corner and it will forget them!!

Thanks, but is there a way to stop it applying these auto adjustments?

There's two things that could be happening here. One could be it's reading the XMP from your previous attempts with ACR / Bridge.

Another is that it's applying an AutoTone. That's in the Preferences

Preferences > Presets > Apply auto tone adjustments
