Dabbling in flash

I don't normally bother with flash (primarily landscape work), but I'm considering having a dabble over the coming winter months. Currently my only flash is an old 430 EX, thatI've had for a number of years now.

Firstly can this be triggered using a pair of 602/3s or 622s?

Secondly I'll be buying a new flash and looking at the 560III, 565EX or the 568II. I know they each have different facilities but I'm wondering which would be the optimum one to go for in terms of currently only wanting to dabble.

I would go for the 622's. Has more functions and uses radio not optical. As for flashes it's a toss up between the 65 or 68. Exactly the same flash except the 68 does HSS (high speed flash)
