I have a D90 which I use for paid work. I shot my first wedding along with a kit lens (widest I had). Obviously it was a nightmare to shoot in the dark lighting. So I invested in a Tamron 17-50 2.8. Then I photographed a music band in a typically dark club, which I had to turn the iso up to 3200. The images were so noisy. So now I am thinking of changing to the A6000 as if I sell all my kit, it will be in my price range.

Im after opinions as to whether the A6000+kit lens will be a good camera to switch over to, in regards to shooting in the studio, wedding, and band shoots.

I understand it has great ISO capabiltiy and will do pretty much everything my D90 will do. My only hangup is the lens range.

you need to handle one, they are very capable, but small. Very similer body shape to other nex style so any shop that stocks them will give you a decent idea, you can get a battery grip for the a6000 now too

One nice thing is that you can use a huge number of manual lenses via the appropriate adapter. A nice cheap set of 28mm f2.8, 50mm f1.8 and 85mm f1.8 or f2 would suit nicely :D
