D800 - Is it true or just rumors?

I am not sure whether its going to be called the D800 or the D3X.

However I can tell you it doesn't look anything like that. Not even close ;)

i would say so too ... the D800 might be a high megapixel FF D700 clone (if it ever was to be) and the D3x might be a high megapixel D3 clone ... the latter will probably come true ... if not both ... lol :);)

and dont it make you puke ......... how quick these cameras change spec ... ive only just paid Big Bucks for my D3 ........ soon to be a worthless doorstop ! :shake:
 
I think we are going to see pretty soon:

A D3 MKII (small re-spin like the D2X to D2Xs, bigger buffer, sensor cleaner)
A "D3X" (but it won't be called a D3X I think)

D800 middle next year (probably will be called the D800)
 
Time to throw all this year's cameras up on Fleabay, they're all worthless now :shake: :lol:
