page 104 of the user manual goes into detail about expected maximum fps with specific battery/grip combinations.
Although there are some explanations in there regarding the smaller image areas however nothing to suggest you wont get 6fps on fx with both the mb-d12 + the en-el18 so am i presuming that you do.
If anyone is lucky enough to own the d800, the mb-d12 + the en-el18 can they confirm if you do get 6fps in fx?

would suggest you dont get 4fps but 4, along with

The eneloops a rechargeable but still very good, I have some myself.
Making my decision going for the d800 I thought was easy however I am put off if indeed you only get 4. I believe the d800 is probably best suited to landscape/studio type photography more than wildlife however not all wildlife is fast moving and the cropping ability the d800s resolution provides is very appealing.
The D4 and d800 share so many features with the main exceptions being resolution, fps and price.
The D800 for sure has an amazing max resolution which intern comes with great cropping which will be very useful.
The D4 comes with an awesome 10/11fps.
However on price if I bought today (pre-ordered!) a D4 from jessops i would get an extra battery included by jessops, a 16GB memory card & a card reader provided by Nikon.
To get the D800 to the same accessory spec would cost another £760 money that could be put toward a D4.
I am sure others must have had second thoughts on the D800 due to the low fps. The D800 bundle would come in at £3200 and the D4 at £5200, my opinion is swaying towards sacrificing a future lens and putting the money on the D4. What do you think?
