D750 Hot Shoe Bent...

I accidentally knocked my D750 onto a hard wood floor, and the hot shoe has now bent a tiny amount, but enough to mean no accessories now fit in.

Hopefully this will be covered by my insurance policy but does anyone have a rough idea how much Nikon would charge for a repair?

Can you not bend it back with some thin pliers? If it hasn't bent much I'd rather do that than pay out the excess for someone else to do it.

Or use a robust flat head screwdriver and gently coax it back?

Thanks both, used a flat key to gently bend it back. It's a bit stiff getting things in and out and still looks slightly bent but seems to work for now.
