I have just made the switch from Pentax to Nikon and am enjoying using my D7200, although, for some reason on continuos high mode it will only take 2 shots then stops, requiring me to release and press the shutter again for another two... ??? I've had a look through the menus and can't seem to find anything to change this. Any ideas regarding what has happened? It worked fine on my last visit to Yorkshire Wildlife Park. What have i changed?

Please Help!

Thank you :)

Look at the speed of the memory card - anything less than a Sandisk Extreme Pro (or other makes similar speed) will make your camera 'pause'...

I have a Sandisk Extreme Pro :) I think I got it after a lot of messing. I altered the bracketing settings and now it will let me continuos shoot again. I have no idea why bracketing would limit this, my shots aren't bracketed in terms of exposure, I haven't even played with those settings yet.. Must have hit and and changed something. By accident. Seems ok now...

Just get used to the idea that when the buffer fills up it takes an absolute eternity to clear, it's a problem my D3 and D7100 have....so frustrating that the K-3 gets taken out, a supposedly inferior camera

I don't own a D7200 myself yet, but I've got one on the way. But from what I've researched on the D7200 the buffer clears much quicker than on the D7100 due to the new Expeed 4 chip.

I could be mistaken but I'm pretty sure I even watched a video demonstrating it. The improved buffer was the reason I ordered one of them over the D7100.

Never filled the buffer on my D7200 ... how do you do that, close your eyes and press the shutter button?
