Hi y'all, back after a break. I dug out my D70S after a period of disuse and all the images are completely overexposed, peak white. It worked fine before its layoff. I thought it might be a sticking shutter but it isn't. I know this because I took pictures with just the body cap on and it's still the same, and holding the mirror up and firing the shutter it behaves as I'd expect. I've tried many resets (the tiny button underneath) but to no avail. I have a horrible feeling it's corrupted processing software but can anyone shed any light on what might be wrong with it?
Is there a way to reinstall the firmware? From what I remember if I insert a card with the same version as already installed it won't offer to 'update'.
