D7000 'unoriginal' battery grip

is about right for a non OEM battery grip. I use a non OEM grip on my D5000 previously but thats because nikon don't make grip for the d5000 so i have no choice.

Now i have D7000 and i personally will go for the OEM battery grip for quality and reliability. If anything wrong nikon cover it ......

I've done a load of reading since purchasing and I think I've definitely made the right choice..

the only differences I've read are the fact that the original is magnesium alloy, and the unoriginal one isn't..Other than that have also read that the original is slightly lose, and the un-official one isn't, seems that there's nothing but positive reviews for the unoffcial one.

and considering the original one is £180+ and the other £45.. yeah

I've been using the same grip for the past two month and it works fine.

yeah, I bought the same one from amazon last month. Battery grip is almost as good as the original. Its plastic, but good quality plastic. Not being made of magnesium alloy only makes it lighter, reducing the overall weight. The black matt finish matches the camera body perfectly and you wouldnt even know its a non-nikon. Its £350 on jessops, so this beats it anytime.

Looks like a bargain, I've got a 3rd party grip and it works just fine.

The photos show 'Meike' on the label - manufacturer of well reviewed grip for D90.

I've just order the original one. UK price is too much, i got a friend to buy it for me in Hong Kong and bring it back, it only cost £100-120. Definate cost too much in UK ........
