hi all

i have been asked to take a few photos at a friends wedding next saturday, so thought i would get my camera out and ready early.
turns out to be a good job, 20 shots into the day and it stops writing to the sandisk 2g card. it would show the pictures on the card but would not take any more.
i tried 2 other 4g cards (that previously worked) but keep getting the message "this card cannot be used". i have tried new batteries, re formatting the cards and the master reset.
looking on the net similar faults have CHA blinking, i DONT have this.
any ideas would be really helpful

Seems to be a common issue with the D70/D70s if you do a search on Google (although what specifically you'd search for I don't remember, but I read a lot about this when I was considering a D70s when looking for a Nikon with a hybrid shutter).

I'm not sure what causes it, but it may be worth a call to Nikon to get a repair cost.

Missed that - the 2 in the title confused me, thought he was talking about a 2nd card.

Well the only other suggestion is that it must be the camera at fault, so the OP needs to get it repaired.
