sods law - I just missed out on the specials with the D700 with a free grip (Just as well the one I had with my D300s fitted :lol:)

All these "deals" always happen after I've brought something :suspect:

I had my new D300s delivered last Thursday, care of the Insurance Company from WEX, and I had an email from WEX today with this offer.

Next time I get my camera damaged I'll wait till there's a special offer on. :lol:

Might be because its an insurance replacement - and that offer from WE is for the bank holiday...

The chap I quoted wasn't the insurance replacement one. Had I bought one a day ago I'd be checking the returns policy for sure.

Thanks for highlighting this deal as well BTW, may be tempted myself... :thinking:
 
No the insurance claim was me...:'(:'(:'(.

But some good came out of it, they dont make the Nikon 70-200 2.8 VRI any more so they replaced it with the VRII............RESULT.:thumbs:
