Hi, I have the D300. I would like to give HDR a try, I know how to set the camera up for bracketing but would like to use the self timer function as well. The idea being I press the shutter button once and 10 secs later it takes the set amount of shots. Does anybody know if this is possible on the D300? I guess the only other option I have is a remote release.
Thanks
Shane

Why not use auto exposure bracketing and Ch mode? That way you get all 5 shots in one simply ;) :)

I do what wibbly says above, works perfectly for me

Sorry guys new to this, can you explain what auto exp / CH mode is please. Is there a guide anywhere?
Shane

I'm not new to this and I don't know what auto exposure and Ch mode means.

Unless I'm mistaken, the trouble with that method is that you have to keep your finger on the shutter button, which if any of the exposures are long, could be a problem.

Unless you have a remote cable the only other way is to use the interval timer, which I haven't tried yet, but I'm told it works. :)
