I have been using my website to display images to Portrait customers and they have been telling me which number photos they would like printed. However i would prefer to use a contact sheet incorporating an order form at the bottom. I have seen this technique used by photographers who do school photography, does anyone know of any software that would do this automatically? I can create a template using PS but i would prefer to use an automated fool proof system. Is there such a program?
 
Have a look at smugmug, we use it for customers who can't use ftp
 
PS CS does contact sheets File/Automate/ Contact sheet or Contact sheet !!, is that what you mean use a main image to choose from with file name under each pic

Its not a problem doing it this way but i would prefer to use a printed contact sheet something that i can give to the customer then they can decide what they want from the sheet of paper. The only reason i want to do it this way is because the colours can differ from computer screen to printed media. Also i think it looks better from a customer relations point of view, always seems better if they got something in their hand IMO

Hi Dave,

I have used this process before, i would like to use something silimar but be able to have my logo, instructions and order form included at the bottom. The more i think about it i would probably have to make the form then prehaps use an action to resize and position the photos

I will check and let you know tomorrow, I was only looking for this the other day, ended up using bridge in the end, as the option wasn't there in PS.

its under the file option as below in PS CS6/5/4/3 and the rest since original ps3 think it went to ps8 then changed to CS1

Came already in my CS6, no download needed?? but I wouldn't use that anyway.

One of the quickest and niftiest programmes to make contact sheets is faststone image viewer and you can output to most file formats including pdf or print direct.

If I see it correctly that your site is based on WordPress you may want to take a look at Gravity Forms. A very flexible tool also integrates with your shopping cart :)
