Lookign for something to use at work in our shop what im looking for is when i take a customer order i want to use my ipad creat a invoice on it and customer details , deposit paid , part number of item etc

it needs to also be email to the customer as a invoice and to another location ie i can send it back to another email adress aswell and then be printed once the order has arrived instock some way of letting the customer know ie via email it is instock

our printer at work wont allow the use of ios software and is not wireless so cant direct print the item

also if there is some way of sending a text message with it too would be great - current ipad does not have 3G only wifi so some sort of service to able to do that even if there is cahrge to send a text to a phone

InvoiceOn is what I would recommend, having worked in a shop where it has previously been used.

Only thing I would say is that it never usually plays nice with thermal printers.
 
Xero - it does much more than invoices :)
 
Sounds like you are looking more for an EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale) app, as opposed to just an invoicing app.

I can't recommend one specifically, but I would be searching the web for "iOS point if sale".

I have played around with SalesVu, but haven't used it in a commercial environment, so couldn't comment on it's suitability.
