Having worked for the Curry’s / PC world group, I suspect it will be priced like this for 28 days and then the can drop the price and legally advertise a 50% saving.

It happens all the time and sadly people fall for it.
 
Maybe on cheaper consumer cameras but anyone buying at this level you would hope would be a bit clued up
 
It's a weird pricing issue.

Go to nikon dslr put into decending price order it's below 1200 quid in the order but the price reads wrong.

But yes most staff are useless
 
I have a feeling the rules changed for over pricing so you could offer discounts later, at one time they only had to have it over priced for so long at one store ( Dixons had a London store for that) now i think you need to have it priced for more general sale in other if not all your stores.

Some furniture stores are still using the after sale price con.
