CS5 setup on Mac

Hello,

I've recently converted to Mac and have installed PS CS5. Now, I love the Mac, love everything about it but whenever I open an image CS5 it opens as I floating window, hanging on the left side of the screen. I have to manually consolidate and change the screen mode to full screen mode with menu bar.

I've checked Preferences>Interface and 'Open documents as tabs' and 'Enable floating windows to be docked' are both checked.

I'd like my images to open automatically in full screen mode, and any further images as tabs, just like they do in Photoshop on Windows.

Is this possible?

Having those options in Preferences ticked should do the trick, certainly works for me. Have you got Window>Application Frame checked? It's the only other thing I can think of...

As above or just hit the "F" key when you open the image should solve your problem, keep hitting the F key to return to floating window.
