CS4 Text not working- please help

Hi,

I have just tried to add text to a picture in photoshop but for some reason the text is only typing on one line! I Hit the enter key and it just returns to the the begining and types over itself.

Tried to do textbox in word doc just incase it was keyboard .and that works fine.

Anyone Know how to fix this please.

I think i have found out what the problem was. I had a reciept sent to me which opened in photoshop. When i deleted a step from the history of this file all seems to work ok again. Phewwwww!
