i couldnt find an extract tool in CS4 so i downloaded the ;goodies' from adobe, and they are still not appearing in my photoshop drop downs. am i doing something wrong? is there something else i should be doing? Sorry to bug you all but i am nearly in tears here have been waiting to find some good fantasy tutorials for aggges and Daves really helped me but i cant use them without this tool :( Damn CS4 :(
 
Check that you have loaded the plug in into the correct location. If it's simply in the Plug In folder PS wont see it, it needs to be in the filters folder.

The Read Me file with the download tells you the correct path. Look for the ExtractPlus plug in.
 
thanks Chappers i managed to work it out in the end and have been playing with my new plug-ins all day :)
