CS4 clone stamp problem

Have just upgraded from CS3 to CS4 and have encountered a small problem with the clone stamp.

With CS3, once I selected my source point and started painting with the clone tool, a little cross appeared to show where the sampling source was. Using CS4, the little cross doesn't appear so that whilst I can still clone OK, I lose track of where I am sampling from.

I am sure that it is just a setting that needs turning on so that the little cross reappeaars, but I just can't find it.

Any ideas?
 
You can hold down the alt key to show a cross (and click to select a source point) if you just want to keep the cross hair use caps lock.
 
I'm using CS4 and the sample source cross works as standard. It does only show while the mouse button is held down though. ie: its being used. Soon as you let go it disappears, ready for selecting a new source point.
