Help, I have taken possesion of D3s and have loaded pics onto my PC. Whilst trying to access files on my CS3 editing suite I'm getting a pop up box after selecting picture I want to open. Text goes "Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of documents". I have updated my software with ACR4.6 and can view files in Bridge and when I go to open files, I have All formats selected but still getting the same message. Any suggestions please. Thanks

You will need to update your camera raw to work with D3s files BUT CS3 might not be able to do it.

Adobe have a structure where some items are not backwards compatible. There is a work around though. You convert all the image to tiffs then open them up in camera raw maybe dng files too.

The Nikon D3S came out after CS3 updates finished, the best bet is to use the free DNG converter from adobe.

Thanks for the reply guys, had read somewhere CS3 may not be compatable then saw the 4.6 plug-in and got my hopes up. Will try converting files to TIFF's. Thanks again much appreciated.

CS5 with camera raw 6.7, CS6 Beta, or Lightroom 3.6 or 4, Aperture for Mac has been updated inc Nikon D4/D800/Canon 5D Mklll.:)
